Today, it’s discovered from study that there are many married women in our world, almost 55 percent of them, who have intentionally and forcefully turned themselves into goddamned professional prostitute only because of the way they used to live before they got married: they love sex and money more than anything, even more than there dear life! And as a result of this, nothing their husband could ever give them that can please them; they will still go out and engage in extramarital affairs; they will still go out to commit adultery. They are never satisfied with their husband or with what he has, but instead they are always satisfied with another woman’s. They are like three things that never get satisfied here on earth; and four that never say, enough!: Sheol, the barren womb, the earth ever thirsty for water, and the fire which never says, enough!  These group of women are a back sheep in the family of women. They love pleasure more than their family: the husband and children. They do not have time for them but always busy with another woman’s husband outside.   

Who Is A Cheating Addict Woman?

In case you don’t understand this term, cheating addict woman, I will like to give it a brief definition here before proceeding. I intentionally used this term in this context to be able to explain it in a more clear manner, so that you, dear reader, could grasp the points going to be discussed here.

Definition:

A cheating addict woman is a type of an already married woman who is persistently and consistently engaging in cheating on her husband by engaging addictively in adultery/extramarital sex without any regard to covenant of marriage.

Four Ways To Handle This Kind Of Woman By Man In Marriage

Under here are four major ways to wisely handle any married woman who happen to enjoy scattering her springs, her streams of water in the streets with strangers, those who have nothing good to give her but only to destroy her and her marriage. I will expound everything one after the other under here for the readers’ understanding. But before that, take a look at this short quoted verses under here. The Scripture verses quoted under here are applicable both to husband and wife who want to live a happy life

Drink water from your own cistern, flowing water from your own well.16  Should your springs be scattered abroad, streams of water in the streets? 17 Let them be for yourself alone, and not for strangers with you. 18  Let your fountain be blessed, and rejoice in the wife of your youth, 19  a lovely deer, a graceful doe. Let her breasts fill you at all times with delight; be intoxicated always in her love (Proverbs 5: 15-19 )

  1. Patience and love—from study, I have discovered that one of the most important things (the vital factors) that make a marriage stay long is patience. Only with patience can a man live long with woman in the home because woman will always be a woman, and nothing can ever change this. If a man wants to live successfully with a nagging and adulterous woman in the home, he must possess, at least and at first, two major qualities: love and patience. If the man loves the woman, then battle is half-won in the marriage, but this is not enough for the man to live a successful life with the woman unless he adds patience to the love he has for her because, many at times, woman will do some things that are very irritating and disgusting foolish things, but when there is love combined with patience, then the marriage will surely forge ahead and thrive, no matter what. But in the absence of this, most especially love, the marriage will soon collapse. Therefore, for husband whose wife cheats on him sexually by persistently and consistently engaging in extramarital sex (adultery or fornication), this is one of the heinous sins a married man or woman could ever commit in marriage covenant which is against the will of God and even man, but if he loves her, he could be exercising patience with her, as long as he loves her. Remember that the Bible says: loves covers all sins, and that many waters cannot quench love, neither can floods drown it (song of Solomon 8: 7) when the fire love is burning. This is one of the best ways a man can wisely handle such a marital infidel woman in marriage.
  2. Study—yes, this too is very important in marriage. Couple should learn to study each other to discover each other’s weaknesses in their marriage relationship. When the habit of studying each other is not cultivated between a couple, then there is great tendency for them to be hurting each other through their weaknesses ignorantly. Therefore, to avoid this, they both should endeavour to cultivate real studying habit, which will help them to build strong and healthy marriage relationship between themselves. This means that if it happens that one partner is doing something wrong, the other partner has right to study him or her to find out what could be the cause and solution to the cause. Therefore, in a situation like this, where wife is cheating on her husband, it calls for the husband to study his wife very well to know what could possibly be the cause and the way out. He should study to see that may be there are some things he is supposed to do for her, but which he fails to do as husband in the home. The fact here is that the husband himself might be the cause; it might be that the wife deemed it fit to cheat on his husband to revenge on him for what he had done to her in past—may be the husband had also once engaged in extramarital affairs before his wife make decision to vengefully bounce back on him for this shameful, marriage ruining act. So, the best way to handle a woman like this is to do a deep study of the situation (of the woman) to know what’s happening. And after the study you find out that what she is doing is not intentional, then you need to sit her down in love and let her know the implications of what she is doing over her marriage, and seek for the way to help her solve the problem. In the main vein, if it be that the wife, after the study, happen to be doing this intentionally, then there is a way of handling this! Let’s move on to the next point. We shall discuss what to do latter if it happened the wife is intentionally doing, but not because his husband has engaged in such act before.
  3. Prayer—there is nothing prayer can’t do, right? You don’t know how to pray? That’s bad! One of the dangerous things that can happen to a couple, which is highly detrimental to their marriage, is inability to pray. Prayer has no option in bringing the home and marriage together in peace and under full security against both inside and outside onslaughts from darkness and the negative influences that tend to bring and weigh family down. A couple who lacks the habit of prayer will always entertain trouble without ability to put it under control or to overcome it. Marriage and family dominion can only come to reality only when husband and wife cultivate the habit and understand the power of prayer in their marriage. The fact here is that If a situation is like this in marriage, if the wife is into the habit of cheat on her husband, and the husband is innocent in this issue, the husband should pray to put demonic activities under subjection. Therefore, couples should learn to know how to pray. Prayer is a powerful tool with which any couple can fight marital battle. Now, in a situation where the wife is engaging in this shameful, marriage destroying act, after the husband has done a deep study on his wife and found out the cause of her doing this, then he needs to pray for solution, for deliverance of his dear wife. He should put her heart in prayer that God should take perfect control of the situation and bring the heart back home. If a woman is found on cheating on her husband, at times, it might not be ordinary; it might be caused by Satan (she might be under a demonic influence), so if there is love, that’s, if the husband understand and still love his wife, then he will definitely pray to save her in this situation. This is another best  and effective way to handle a woman like this in marriage.
  4. Divorce—yes, this is the final part of the ways to get a woman who is cheating on her husband, a marital infidel, a woman who is going or has gone beyond her marital boundary in marriage to break the divine covenant God established between her and her God’s giving husband. I am talking of a woman who has allowed her spring scatter abroad, and fountain or river of love flow in the streets with all sort of different kind of irresponsible men only because she is not content with what her husband and what he has; only because of whoredom because prostitution is in her blood like marrow is in the bone. The fact here is that if any man has really tried taking all of the above steps when he discovered that his wife is into the habit of cheating on him without any justifiable reason, then the best thing is filing and serving her a letter of divorce. There is no sin committed in this because this in accordance with Scripture. This is what Jesus said when he was responding to the question of Pharisees and Sadduccees on divorce in the book of Mathew 19:Why then,” they asked, “did Moses command that a man give his wife a certificate of divorce and send her away?”8 Jesus replied, “Moses permitted you to divorce your wives because your hearts were hard. But it was not this way from the beginning. 9 I tell you that anyone who divorces his wife, except for sexual immorality, and marries another woman commits adultery. But the man should not divorce her without taking the necessary steps. He should go to court so that he can be authorized by the court by giving him a letter of divorce for the woman. Once again, there is no sin in doing this since it’s done based on her whoring behavior in the home. This is the fourth final part of the steps to take to handle a woman like this in marriage. Sexual immortality is a great sin against marriage covenant and God Himself, the Creator of marriage.

Conclusion

Infidelity is against the will of God for marriage and even against marriage covenant itself, therefore it’s necessary and good that couples learn to live in complete honesty with each other to enjoy happy married life. God is not and never happy at divorce, unless a situation like this we discussed here, fornication, occurs between husband and wife in marriage. Therefore, this is what the Bible says as an admonition to every couple who desires a real happiness in marriage: “drink water from your cistern, flowing water from your own well. Should your springs be scattered abroad, streams of water in the streets?” Let them be for yourself alone, and not for strangers with you. Let your fountain be blessed, and rejoice in the wife of your youth.
