Previously, I talked about four costly reasons today’s women fall for men, the men who are not even really ready for them to be the father of their children. But here, I want to talk about marriage, as the major vital component of human being’s life (your life as a human). Marriage makes human beings complete. Marriage is complementary.
Don’t Be Ignorant!
ignorance‘, some say, ‘is a disease’ while some say, ‘it’s a total darkness state of man’s mind’. But, I describe it as a poison in marital destiny! You shouldn’t give it a room in your marital journey! This is a capital indisputable truth when it comes to the issue of marriage. Ignorance has over the ages been putting many people—those who embrace and give it a room in their marital journey—in bondage of sorrow and regret. Thus, In-depth insight into what the word marital success involves and wisdom about how to really achieve this success is greatly required of us if truly you and I want to have lasting success and immeasurable joy in marriage.
Marriage: A Vital Component
Scripture: Genesis 2: 18- 23
18Then the LORD God said, “It is not good for the man to be alone; I will make him a helper suitable for him.” …21So the LORD God caused a deep sleep to fall upon the man, and he slept; then He took one of his ribs and closed up the flesh at that place. 22The LORD God fashioned into a woman the rib which He had taken from the man, and brought her to the man. 23The man said“This is now bone of my bone And flesh of my flesh; She shall be called Woman. Because she was taken out of Man.” (NASB)
Marriage or wedlock is a vital component of human being’s life to which much attention must be given if he needs to break-free from regrets and sorrows that rise as a result of being ignorant to those things (those facts, truths and principles) that serve as indispensable tools by which marriage can truly become a success. Marriage, as an undeniable vital part of human being’s life, constitutes our major part in life and has come a long way to be irreplaceable complementary to human joy and success in life, and nothing is worth compared to it and its functions in our life—It complements and consummates our life; it adds value to our image and brings honor to our existence. The Scripture verses quoted above show the situation of man when marriage had not come to existence, meaningless and shapeless, and how it was after it came to existence, meaningful and full of promising future.
The Scripture’s Viewpoints About Marriage
Reading through the Scripture, Some cogent truths are discovered about marriage, which will be briefly stated here: In Genesis 2: 18, It’s revealed that marriage makes man complete; it fills gap and creates companionship between man and woman; it removes lonesomeness and helps man to be able to live a fulfilling life in accordance with the will of God. The Scripture shows that God, in His divine plan and intention, wants human beings to live a complete fruitful (productive) life of comfort and increase. Furthermore, Romans 13: 4 (Marriage is honourable in all, and the bed undefiled: but whoremongers and adulterers God will judge (KJB)) also shows that marriage is honorable and should be treated honorably: it’s a position of honour into which God has put us to fulfill the true purpose of creation in life. Marriage is a divine honor and glory to human being’s existence.
Conclusion
Finally, as we know that marriage is a vital component of us, so it plays vital and incomparable roles in our life. ‘Marriage is your and my honor and right, and it must be handled with honor and care’, as said the Scripture. When you handle marriage with honor, you honor yourself. Therefore, you should be wise in handling your marriage to enjoy it to the fullest.
